Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Supervisor
- Supervise the daily operations of the accounting department, including AP/AR and general ledger functions.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Develop and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering skill development and growth.
- Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and financial forecasting.
- Identify process improvements and implement efficiencies to enhance financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls.
What You Bring to the Role
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of accounting experience (1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity is a bonus)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
